I painted this beautiful early morning scene to depict the feeling of a new crush. The sun is only just rising, and you are rowing steadily into a beautiful pink mist containing all the possibilities of a wonderful day ahead. What actually waits on the other side of the mist… what challenges lie in that mountain ahead…. Well, let’s not think about that just yet.
