"It's Right Underneath Your Nose"

from $35.00

I find that every time I step outside my front door with the intention of finding something inspiring, I succeed. The ultimate method for becoming inspired is to actively seek something interesting.

The story in this painting is that you are walking with your dog on a frozen-over lake. As a desert-dweller who rarely chances upon a frozen lake, I would already deem this a magical experience. But the real discovery lies hidden underneath the ice. The question is whether or not you are in the frame of mind to find it.

This image reminds me to look for those hidden treasures as I go about my day. Inspiration is always nearby. I just need to keep my eyes and mind open to finding it.

Prints are Giclee prints on archival smooth matte paper. Actual size is the size listed plus a white border around the image.
