I love creating invitations to celebrate life.
From a design standpoint, it’s fun to balance creative yet practical layouts with colors and illustrations that will reflect the personality of the event and get people excited.
It’s also fun to take part in the fun and excitement surrounding the event.
I have designed and illustrated many invitations over the years. Here are a few of my favorites:
Invitations
When I was asked to create a witchy invitation, I was overjoyed. I drew the illustration, designed the layout, and wrote the copy myself.

Here’s another Halloween-related invitation. I wanted to find a create way to present the timeline of the party for this one, and my client was very happy with the way this turned out.

I got to play with a lot of different brush textures for this one. I loved working with this color palette and finding ways to make this invitation feel magical and organic.
I sold this one on my Etsy shop, and what you are seeing is a mockup I created for that listing.

I sourced and recolored the video game machine for this one. The funnest part was creating the grungy texture.

It was such a joy to step a bit outside of my style to create this sweet, girly tea party invitation. The trick was presenting the information an elegant way while working around this large illustration I created.
I also offered this one on my Etsy shop, and what you are seeing is a mockup I created for that listing.

I created an entire party package to go with this fairy themed invitation. This was in the earlier days for me, and I learned A LOT in this process about resizing and vectoring digital artwork. I painted the fairies in Procreate, so they were raster images. Then I had to figure out how to enlarge them so I could use them in other elements of the package.
